Developing and investigating IVD products in molecular diagnostics, he gained an understanding of the capacities and limitations of biomarkers. Now, applying that knowledge to support oncologists and medical colleagues can help drive personalized health care and the role of diagnostic panels in patient care.

Mr. Walker have developed and implemented medical strategy plans for several disease states, including the breast diagnostics portfolio and PD-L1 indications for lung and bladder.

Interacting with clinicians, Mr. Walker  have developed clinical studies, held advisory boards, ran speaker engagements, and coordinated many publications. 

Mr. Walker ‘s strong background in oncology research has served me well to help build relationships with clinicians in both pathology and oncology. During his postdoctoral training at University of California, San Francisco, Mr. Walker developed a genetic mouse tumor model and conducted clinical research.

Dr. Martin is an experienced medical affairs professional who has worked in various therapeutic area including immunology, oncology and haematology.

His current role focuses on precision medicine in oncology and haematology.

What Dr. Martin enjoy the most about working in medical affairs is the scientific challenges, the leadership of a medical affairs portfolio and the strong cross functional work.

Prior to joining the pharmaceutical industry, Dr. Martin have spent 7 years in medical research as an epidemiologist and geneticist. During that time, Dr. Martin have worked on large scale epidemiological projects that have investigated the aetiology of diseases and quantitative traits. His work has been published in high impact factor journals.

Dr. Martin driven by the desire to learn new skills and develop his knowledge in different therapeutic areas.
